I’ve got the itch. It’s been over two years since my last tattoo and I’m dying to get my next one. The only problem? What to get?! Good thing I spend my time researching inspiration. So much gorgeous ink out there…
Even though most of the country is knee-deep (or in some cases shoulder-deep) in snow right now, all I can do is feel amazing about the sunshine out my window. Or maybe that’s why it feels so good. I know that if I hadn’t moved here, I’d be feeling the bitter cold of Chicago’s winter on my toes. Either way, I’m going to bask in the beachy vibes while I can!
And for all of you who are stuck in the thick of it, here’s some eye candy to help you warm up…
Now that it’s December, it’s officially time to bring on the bling—well, actually anything glittery, shimmery, shiny, metallic or even remotely sparkly. For whatever reason, the holiday season opens the floodgates for sparkle, and I love it. In fact, my recent purchase of these pants inspired a “bling theme” for this year’s office holiday party. You’re welcome, office. So, here’s a little added inspiration for all of you who have your own theme this year. Go nuts!
Usually, the annual office holiday party is something I look forward to. This year, it’s even more exciting since I’ll be heading back to Chicago to see the whole crew! I couldn’t be more excited to reconnect with friends and meet some new ones. Hanging out with coworkers and friends after a 6 month hiatus means one, very important thing—I’ve gotta look good.
The only problem is I can’t decide how to dress. Do I dress way up? More casual? Edgy? Cute and girly? Why does being a girl have to be so hard?
Bold, graphic black and white is all I can think about right now. All summer I was feeling color—bright neons and cool ombrés—but now that the summer fun is ending, neutrals have taken over, especially black and white combos. And not just in my closet, but everywhere!
