Birthday Party Animal
Today is my birthday! I’m excited for cake, presents, friends and, oh yeah, work. The unfortunate side of having a weekday birthday as an adult. If you don’t take the day off, it’s just another day! At least I was able to have a birthday dinner with the hubs and my best friend. Really, what more could a girl ask for?
this week really tuckered me out.
This week has been crazy — late nights at work paired with launching the new blog. Thanks for all of your support this week. It’s been a nice oasis at the end of each hectic day. I’m finally just glad that the weekend has come and I can take a step back and breathe! Hopefully next week is a little more calm, but equally rewarding.

Hello and welcome to the new Design Me Daily! I’m so excited to start fresh with a new look, a new name and a new outlook on this blog and what it means to me. When I originally started blogging, it was just a way for me to collect my inspiration and catalog the things I love in life. Since then, it has become a part of me. It’s still a platform to share what I love and what inspires me, but it has also provided me with motivation, support, friends and an incredible sense of self. I have this unhealthy obsession with wedding stuff. Normally this would not be unhealthy, but under these circumstances…I have a problem. I just got married and I want to redesign my wedding over and over! Not because I’m unhappy with how it turned out — just wait, you’ll see :) — but because I loved the process! How fun to design paper goods for your very own party! But now, it’s time to check back into the present…I just don’t want to!
At least these invites could be for another occasion, or for a friend’s wedding perhaps?
