Gorgeous Friday

The sun was shining today, which lately is cause for celebration! And today marks the end of my second week at the new job, which so far has been so so good. I’m learning a lot and can’t wait to see what this job has in store for me! Thank you all for your patience, I know that I’ve been lazy on the blog, but believe me I miss you more than you could possibly miss me! Happy Friday (and Memorial Day too)!

Fashion Confession

Alright, ladies, I have a confession to make. We get all lovey-dovey, serious and personal in the blog world and what’s better than a confession with a little fashion twist?
Ever since I had surgery 6 years ago my ankle/foot has swelled up each summer. And I’m talking HUGE. Like one foot is a size 7 and the other is a 9, extra wide. Ew.

The worst part is, it’s embarrassing to wear cute sandals and dresses/skirts/anything that bares my ankles. So, Spring boots to the rescue! Obviously I can’t really wear a boot in 100ยบ weather, but for now when it’s the in-between kind of weather, these are perfection!
